Reading Map Records
Select a marker to see what happened there and how the record is classified.
Activity details
A public record can show its title, type, category, date, site or location, and description. Administrators can choose which of the site, date, and description fields appear on the public map.
Location context
A record may use a site name, city, country, or submitted location. The written place helps explain the activity; the coordinates decide where its marker appears.
Multiple activities
More than one activity can share a marker. Open the marker list and choose an activity to read its own details. A regional group may contain several separate locations and will zoom in before showing individual records.
Reading with care
The map is a public view of the records collected so far. It should not be treated as a complete count of every UConn engagement activity. Use the CSV export when you need to compare the visible public records in a table.
