The UConn School of Social Work collaborates with the Connecticut State Department of Children and Families (DCF) to strengthen the public child welfare workforce by preparing master’s-level social workers with the skills and knowledge needed to support diverse families. The program builds on the foundation established by the NCWWI CT Partnership for Child Welfare Excellence (2014) and emphasizes professional development for students committed to serving diverse communities.
