Under the auspices of Global Affairs, UConn Abrahamic Programs is an innovative academic initiative dedicated to promoting cross-border research, intercultural communication, and community engagement. The program draws upon the intellectual foundations of Abrahamic thought and its three monotheistic faiths—Judaism, Christianity, and Islam—highlighting the shared values of acquiring knowledge, using reason, and acting with wisdom. By focusing on these shared values and cultural connections, UConn Abrahamic Programs aims to bridge divides, promote understanding, and create pathways for collaborative research and community development across regions influenced by Abrahamic cultures.
