UConn EDEN is dedicated to reducing the impact of emergencies and disasters in Connecticut by providing research-based outreach education. The program aims to enhance community preparedness, resilience, and recovery through targeted educational efforts across several key areas: Shelter from the Storm, Agriculture, Community, Family & Home, and Workplace. By focusing on these key areas, UConn EDEN equips Connecticut residents with the knowledge and skills to effectively prepare for and respond to disasters, minimizing their impact on lives and livelihoods.
