Leadership

BSOUL House (a Learning Community in support of Black Sisters Optimizing Unity & Leadership) is designed to support the educational efforts of female students who identify as African American/Black through academic and social/emotional support, access to research opportunities, and professional development. In addition to serving as a recruitment tool for UConn, they are also a space where academic and personal support is provided, student progress is tracked, and barriers that impact student success are identified and overcome, leading to better participant outcomes.
