The Connecticut Training and Technical Assistance Center (T2 Center) enhances the quality and safety of the state’s surface transportation system through collaborative relationships and information exchange. The T2 Center focuses on improving the skills and knowledge of Connecticut’s transportation workforce, ensuring a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound transportation network. Serving a wide range of stakeholders, including municipal public works directors, road maintenance staff, engineers, Department of Transportation employees, transportation planners, and law enforcement professionals, the T2 Center offers comprehensive educational and technical assistance programs. These programs, available both in-person and virtually, include:- Public Works Academy- CT Road Master- CT Road Scholar- Transportation Leadership Program- Local Traffic Authority- Safety Circuit Rider Program – Safety Academy- Traffic Signal Circuit Rider Program – Traffic Signal Academy- Traffic Signal Technician Certificate ProgramThe T2 Center plays a vital role in fostering continuous improvement in Connecticut's transportation and public safety community.
