The Letters About Literature Contest is an annual event co-sponsored by the Neag School of Education and led by faculty member Douglas Kaufman. This contest invites students in grades four through 12 across Connecticut to engage with literature personally and meaningfully. Participants write letters to authors, sharing how a particular book or poem has impacted their lives. The contest allows students to reflect on the power of literature, develop their writing skills, and engage with authors and stories that have influenced them.
