K-12 Education, Student Achievement, and College Access
The Mayor's Youth Program offers high school seniors the opportunity to intern at various locations throughout Stamford. Each year, approximately four interns are selected by the Admissions Office to be part of the program. In addition to hands-on work experience, the program includes a morning workshop designed to educate students about the importance of higher education and guide them through the college application process. This initiative helps students gain valuable skills, explore career options, and learn how to navigate the path to college.
