The Da Vinci Program is a dynamic week-long professional development opportunity for grades 5-12 teachers, held each July at the Storrs campus. During this immersive experience, participants gain a strong foundation in engineering principles while developing practical curricula and exercises to introduce engineering concepts to their students. Teachers can select from six specialized engineering workshops to explore diverse engineering fields. By the end of the program, teachers are equipped to bring the integration of chemistry, physics, biology, and math into solving real-world problems—demonstrating the power of engineering in their classrooms.
