The CK Explorer's Club is a collaborative program with Ben Moon at CK Magnet Elementary School, designed for 4th and 5th-grade students. UConn Avery Point students serve as instructional aides alongside CK teachers and the program manager. The club meets weekly from April to June, offering an exciting afterschool experience where students explore various open spaces in Groton. This program introduces nature through nonformal educational activities, fostering curiosity and environmental awareness in a hands-on, outdoor setting.
