Voter Education Day
- College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
- Stamford
Overview
Voter Education Day engages students in the political process by rallying them around key issues, connecting them with community organizations, and providing opportunities to meet candidates. Launched in 2016 by Professor Beth Ginsberg (Political Science - Stamford) as a service-learning project, the event continues to foster civic awareness and engagement. Featuring organizations like the NAACP, Stamford Business Council, and Moms Demand Action, Voter Education Day transforms the campus concourse into a hub of political and civic activity, where students explore tables of resources and information throughout the day.
