Outreach & Engagement Programs and Scholars Database

In collaboration with the Connecticut Public Health Association’s Mentors on Request (MOR) and the UConn Program in Public Health, CT AHEC offers one-session presentations to secondary schools about topics and careers in public health. Students learn about the link between overall health and public health, the relationships between poverty and community wellness, historical achievements in public health, and employment skills and opportunities within the field of public health.
