The Problem-Based Learning and Clinical Skills Immersion activity is a free, one-day program at UConn Health designed for first- and second-year college students. It provides a unique opportunity to step into the role of a health professional, engage in clinical skills activity, learn about different health careers, and interact with current health professions students. The program has received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with 100% of learners reporting that it was a valuable experience to have health professionals and research students as mentors.
