National Social Work Voter Mobilization Coalition
- School of Social Work
- Hartford
The National Social Work Voter Mobilization Campaign promotes nonpartisan voter engagement as a key component of social work practice and social services. The campaign provides training modules designed for integration into classes or workshops, highlighting the connection between voter turnout and community health. These modules explore voter engagement through the lenses of human rights, public health, and political power while addressing systemic barriers that suppress voter turnout and dilute community influence. Through this work, the campaign empowers social workers and communities to strengthen democratic participation and advocacy.
