Grounded in a social justice and feminist perspective, the Violence Against Women Prevention Program (VAWPP) is dedicated to addressing and preventing all forms of sexual violence through education, outreach, and advocacy. This program provides VAWPP Workshops. VAWPP workshops are interactive discussions facilitated by peers or professional staff, which explore the continuum of gender-based discrimination, harassment, and violence. Grounded in social justice and feminist perspectives, workshops invite all campus stakeholders to examine their role in ending gender-based violence by addressing its root causes in oppression. Some workshops include Consent 201, Power and Control (in Relationships), Gender & Violence in the Media, Sexual Harassment Prevention and Education Training, and Greeks Against Sexual Assault (GASA).
