The Connecticut/Baden-Württemberg Human Rights Research Consortium (HRRC) is an international, interdisciplinary, and inter-institutional platform fostering academic collaboration among researchers and institutions in Connecticut (USA) and Baden-Württemberg (Germany). HRRC serves as an incubator for diverse human rights research projects, generating critical knowledge on pressing issues and sharing its findings broadly. Key research areas include artificial intelligence, biotechnology, democratic institutions under authoritarian pressure, conflict management, human rights education in the social media era, geopolitics, migration (including labor and forced migration), media and public discourse, philosophical foundations of human rights, and social justice. Through these efforts, HRRC advances innovative human rights scholarship and education on a global scale.
